#newyorkbiology essential oils review

The lovely people at New York Biology sent me some essential oils to play with and review in exchange for an honest review. I'll be honest in saying that I know next to nothing when it comes to essential oils. I know that they are supposed to be really good for you, and have a ton of health related benefits, but aside from that, I know nada, nothing, zilch. In saying this, I recieved three different oils, Tea TreeLavender and Peppermint. I'll go through each oil and tell you my thoughts.

Read more for all my thoughts:

please excuse my boyfriends weird hands.

First is the Tea Tree, which I know is great for skin and hair problems.
I wanted to  use this oil mostly for some scars on my legs and in my
hair products for extra goodness. I was unaware that you need a carrier oil to use these oils topically, so I'm currently on the hunt for a carrier oil.

Second is the Lavender oil, which I've given to a friend since lavender makes me sick and gives me horrible headaches. So far she's used this oil at night to help her de-stress and calm down from her day to day life. I'll ask her in a week or so and ask her how she likes it, and what uses she's found for it.

Lastly, is the peppermint oil, which I'm liking the best. I've been using this to help with my sinuses, and so far I'm really liking how it's working. I put 1-2 drops in my hands, rub them as if I'm washing them, and hold them up to my nose and take a few deep breaths in. I'm going to see how these oils work with a diffuser, as I'm thinking that they will work even better.

FTC: I received these for free in exchange for an honest review, all opinions are my own.
